RKO Dispatcher

The responsibility of the RKO Dispatcher is to develop and maintain strong customer service skills. The RKO Dispatcher must become proficient and gain the client confidence in the areas of customer service, repossessions, and vehicle remarketing.
1.0 Responsibilities and Duties:
Maintain excellent customer service, strong telephone support and ability to answer or research the answer to client questions.
Rectifying issues as they arise, facilitating a solution, and following up to confirm resolution.
Reassign assignments if needed.
Gather and enter repossession consignments and/or processing of electronically received consignments.
Regular purging of aged inventory.
Monitor assignments on hold or closed by clients request.
Liaison between client, debtor and agent.
Report repossessions to client per request.
Miscellaneous clerical duties to include filing, copying and administrative support.
Audit variety of forms, to include but not limited to invoices, condition reports, sales and expense documents, inventory reports, and sale information to clients.
Utilizing knowledge of multiple computer systems, such as the internal operating system, Email, and Microsoft, in the performance of daily duties.
Perform other duties as directed by HTL Management.
2.0 Educational Requirements and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Previous customer service, repossession or remarketing experience is preferred.
3.0 Skills and Abilities
Excellent organizational and communicational skills
Competent Microsoft Office skills (i.e. telephone, data entry and filing)
Support strategic direction of HTL and KAR Corporation.
Implement and assure adherence to company policies and procedures regarding Equal Employment Opportunity.

Maintain strict compliance to the GLB - Gramm Leach Bliley Act along with all other local and federal laws relating to customer confidentiality.
Adhere to the principles of the FDCPA - Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
4.0 Essential Functions: Essential Functions are the fundamental job duties that an employee must be willing and able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to read and comprehend detailed information through oral and written communication.
Must be accessible when off duty through reliable communication methods for occasional unscheduled work assignments.
Must be able to adhere strictly to the work schedule. Daily attendance, punctuality and availability are critical essential functions of the job.
Must perform to the departmental work production quality and quantity standards. Must be able to work effectively and harmoniously with others.
Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle, possess a driver's license and reliable transportation.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
