P&C Private Client Group (PCG) is a division of NFP Property & Casualty. Our headquarters are in New York City with 14 offices across the country - specializing in insurance ranging from homeowners and auto to specialty lines, such as aircraft and watercrafts.
Summary:
The AVP will be responsible for the day to day needs and management of existing personal risk clients, supervision of employees, and generating new business in his/her office. Manages and maintains relationships with carriers and is responsible for policy compliance. Responsibilities:
Must be knowledgeable and have experience in the Florida P&C market. Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with personal risk clients ranging from basic insurance needs to complex. Act as the subject matter expert on Property & Casualty and carrier products and services. Have management experience and will be responsible to supervise and mentor staff and provide assistance with clients. Maintains and manages solid relationships with clients and carrier sales representatives. Negotiate with carriers for best possible result. Communicate and update VP on all pertinent matters related to the Miami office. Attend renewal and strategy meetings with clients as needed. Manage team structure and monitor team workload to determine capacity to take on new clients. Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
Excellent written communication skills - writes clearly; edits work for spelling and grammar; varies writing style to meet needs; presents numeric data effectively; able to read and interpret written information. Self-confident to make sound independent decisions. Ability to successfully interact with a variety of people/personalities. Strong leadership skills. Management/supervisory experience. Must be able to read, analyze and reconcile financial reports. Possess technical expertise plus good analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle situations in a calm, courteous and professional manner. Proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel. Education and/or
Experience:
BA/BS preferred. More than 8 years industry and product line experience. Certificates, Licenses, Registration:
Florida 2-20 Property & Casualty Broker's License required. CPCU or other P&C designation preferred. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Risk & Quantitative AnalysisEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
